Catalys Pacific Adds Experienced Pharmaceutical and Biotech Executive as Advisor
Catalys Pacific announced that Mr. Seth H Z Fischer has joined the team as Advisor. Seth will contribute to our company creation efforts as an experienced executive and board member of pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
With more than 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry, he brings deep operational and commercial expertise, with a successful track record of developing and executing strategies to drive company and product growth in multiple therapeutic areas.
Seth currently serves as a member of the board of directors of Marinus Pharmaceuticals, Agile Therapeutics, Spectrum Pharmaceuticals and Milestone Pharmaceuticals, and an advisor to HealthQuest Capital.
Previously, Seth was Company Group Chairman, Johnson & Johnson, and Worldwide Franchise Chairman of Cordis Corporation. Before that, he served as Company Group Chairman, North America Pharmaceuticals, which included responsibilities for Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceuticals, Janssen and Scios. Following his tenure at Johnson & Johnson, Seth served as the chief executive officer and as a director of Vivus, a company commercializing and developing innovative, next-generation therapies to address unmet needs.
Seth earned his bachelor’s degree in general studies from Ohio University and served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force.
