
Sandy Mong, MD
Sandy is a Partner with Catalys Pacific. She brings leadership experience across business development, corporate strategy and program leadership, from discovery to clinical stage across multiple therapeutic areas and modalities, in seed stage to public companies. Previously, she served as SVP of Business Development and Operations at Mariana Oncology (acquired by Novartis), a peptide-based radiopharmaceutical company, where she built out Program Management, Finance, Legal, and R&D Operations functions. Prior to Mariana, she was VP of BD & Operations at BridgeBio Pharma, where she led small molecule programs from preclinical to Phase 2; and Sr. Director of Business Development & Strategy at CRISPR Therapeutics, where she led search & evaluation and partnering across ex vivo / in vivo gene editing, and viral and non-viral delivery. She was previously a consultant at McKinsey & Company. She holds an MD from Harvard Medical School and a B.S in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology from Yale University.
